The one great thing about my situation was my mother never encouraged me to get married to anyone or set me on a date with anyone. Whoever I dated she was like okay that's great.
But I don't remember her pushing me into marriage. I think I succumbed to dating because that was the normal thing to do at the time and also get married.
But she never pushed me into it and she never tried to set me up with any boy to date.
She didn't human traffic me.. she never human trafficked me like mothers do with their sons and daughters today
When mothers intend for her daughters and sons to get married it is because she wants a baby and a family.. she doesn't care what her daughters and sons want she wants to have a grandchild.
And since my mother understood the dangers of having children to the mother as well as a child and the father she wasn't playing that part.
And that is f****** commendable..
So I have to thank her again. I have to thank her for the world that she lived in and the world that she fought for.
She was fighting for my future. And that is f****** amazing and it's priceless when your own mother fights for your future and doesn't enslave you into a family and a child.
