Remember Noah was the last "Giant" but they say he wasn't so the only way that I can think he survived living to be 950 is if he wasn't around too much diversity and the only reason why he died was the pestilence from the flood.
But I don't think he was a small human. I truly think he was a giant and then his offspring carried on the human race as they evolved living to be about 125 150 and then less than that.
Humans today even in these remote Islands don't live to be 950 years old because they have families and children. I can't imagine the weather or the climate today was that different back then but then you could say the giant trees gave so much oxygen allowing for longer lives and potentially but even then. It's hard to say.
And so you can say he was human and lived to be 950 and then somehow the human race can only live to be 100 which is really weird or the more plausible story is that he was a giant who is able to live to be 950 and then his children were half breeds. Half human and a half Giant and then taken down to the human average size today.
But it doesn't make sense that a human back then live to be 950 and many humans and then only live to be 100. Unless they were in such homogenized environments not exposed to diversity and pestilence and then the flood forced everyone to get together and after the waters receded then the pestilence was so astronomical causing such aggressive sexuality and fertility and it cut down the human race as they kept procreating because of the diversity which is plausible..
Getting together with so many diverse people or exposure to dead microbes after the flood waters recede caused disease and so that's how they were able to use the 10 plagues because they already had the prototype from Noah's Ark.. Noah knew how to use everything with the 10 plagues and that was also how Moses was able to control Egypt and again I don't know how he parted the red sea but I guess some things you just have to put a Hollywood spin around it or it was low tide and then it was just magical that high tide wiped away the Egyptians coming after the Israelites
And then you have Exodus in the 10 plagues so they knew how to use the plagues against the people of Egypt in that story.
And that was how pestilence cut down the human race to a lifespan of 125 or 150 because of so much aggressive diversity with way less population than you see today allegedly
Yes, according to the biblical timeline, Noah's Ark story (the flood narrative) occurs significantly before the Exodus event, as the flood is described in the book of Genesis, which comes chronologically before the book of Exodus where the Exodus story is told.
Key points:
Biblical order: Genesis (Noah's Ark) comes before Exodus.
Chronological sequence: The story of Noah is considered to have happened many generations before the Israelites left Egypt, which is the Exodus event.
The Giants don't have to be Nephilim
This statement is correct; while the Bible mentions "Nephilim" as a specific group of giants, the term "giant" can refer to any exceptionally large person in the biblical text, not necessarily only those descended from the Nephilim lineage, meaning giants can exist without being directly connected to the Nephilim.
Key points to remember:
Interpretation of "Nephilim":
The exact meaning of "Nephilim" is debated, but it is often translated as "fallen ones" or "giants" in the Bible.
Biblical context:
The only place where the Nephilim are explicitly mentioned is in Genesis 6:4, where it is stated that they were present "in those days" before the flood.
Other giant groups:
The Bible also mentions other groups of people described as giants, like the Anakim, who are sometimes connected to the Nephilim in interpretation, but not explicitly stated as such.
According to the Bible, in the days of Noah, humans were said to live extremely long lives, with Noah himself living to be 950 years old; this is based on the Genesis account where many early humans are recorded as living for hundreds of years.
Key points about lifespans in the time of Noah:
Long lifespans: The Bible describes people like Adam, Seth, and Methuselah living to be over 900 years old.
Noah's age: Specifically, Noah is recorded as living to be 950 years old.
Interpretation: This is a topic of debate among religious and scientific communities, with various theories about why lifespans were so long in the Bible's early narratives.
The 10 plagues of Egypt are described in the Bible's Book of Exodus:
Plague of frogs
Frogs emerged from the Nile and covered the ground in Egypt.
Plague of livestock
Also known as the plague of pestilence, this plague killed all of Egypt's domestic animals.
Plague of boils
A painful infection that spread throughout the land, including among the sacred priests.
Plague of darkness
A darkness so thick that people could not see one another for three days. Scholars believe this may have been a solar eclipse or a cloud of volcanic ash.
Plague of flies
Dense swarms of flies filled Pharaoh's palace and the homes of his officials.
Plague of the firstborn
The final plague, in which Yahweh decreed that all firstborn sons in Egypt be killed.
The purpose of the plagues was to demonstrate that the God of Israel was more powerful than the Egyptian gods and priests.
